Synergy – Corn Gluten Meal Granulated Fertilizer Synergy with Corn Gluten Meal 6-2-2 contains the ingredient ‘corn gluten meal’ which is edible and also an approved organic weed control. Synergy produces a long lasting green up of turfgrass with its 100% organic source of slow release nitrogen. Synergy works best as a fertilizer when applied in March or April, prior to the weeds' germinating and then again as a winterizer in October.
